The Visit of Prime Minister of Georgia to Brussels is underway. PM Irakli Garibashvili held a meeting with the President of the European Council. He had discussed bilateral cooperation, regional priorities and the Riga Summit with Donald Tusk.
Both sides exchanged views on the situation in the region and security situation overall in Georgia, as well as the important role of the EU in the fight against current challenges.
The Prime Minister of Georgia expressed concern over the crisis in Ukraine, which aggravates the security situation in the whole of Europe. He underlined that current developments are a continuation of Russia`s "policy of aggression", which started in Georgia in August 2008.
