Embassy of Belarus will be opened in Georgia in a year. Alexander Lukashenko confirmed the information. He visited Batumi today and attended the ceremony of twinning Brest and Batumi today.

Before the ceremony he has met with the leader of Adjarian government. Archil Khabadze  represented tourism and investment potential of Georgia to the President of Belarus. The leaders have commented on the third paragraph of the joint statement  signed in Tbilisi. According to the  document Georgia and Belarus recognize the territorial integrity of these countries.

Giorgi Margvelashvili has hosted his Belarusian counterpart at the Megrelian- Laz restaurant. Alexander Lukashenko has already  left Georgia.
