Two individuals detained for the attempt of smuggling undeclared cash from the country

Two facts of smuggling of undeclared money were fixed at the International Airport of Tbilisi. Reportedly the customs officers have found 47 500 USD in a baggage of Georgian citizen V.V and 31 000 USD and 74 959 Chinese Yuan in a baggage of G.O. Both suspects were detained. Reportedly one of them was traveling to Baku and another one to Doha.

According to the Tax Code sanctions were imposed on the detainees, they have to pay 3000 GEL as fine
