The Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan launched a criminal case against the citizens of Georgia and France - Vahan Chakhalyan and Arthur Oganesian, writes news agency Trend.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, there is a reasonable suspicion that these persons are involved in terrorist activities against the citizens of Azerbaijan, during which they use illegally purchased firearms and ammunition.

The criminal case is launched under several articles - conducting an aggressive war, premeditated murder committed by an organized crime group, premeditated murder committed with particular cruelty, premeditated murder committed on the grounds of national, racial or religious hatred and creating illegal armed groups.
