Heavy rains caused flooding in central districts of Russia"s Olympic city of Sochi on Thursday.

The torrential downpour began in the early morning hours, with the districts which hosted main Olympic events and house the Olympic park and the Olympic village being worst affected by the flash flood.

Many people living in the area blamed last year"s Winter Olympics for the flood
