GEL started depreciation despite the rate set by the National Bank.

As of today, the price of  one dollar at commercial banks is  2.48 GEL, at the exchange booths - 2.44 GEL.

The experts link such a  sharp devaluation of the national currency to the allocation of the Supervision department from the National Bank and speak about negative expectations.
