Minister of Education, Tamar Sanikidze commented on the diploma of Kakha Kaladze"s brother-in-law, Giorgi Areshidze saying that there was a special procedure for determining the authenticity of the diploma. According to the Minister, the owner of the Diploma should personally request a response from the Development Center, which after studying the issue will give conclusion on the authenticity of the diploma.

From the information published on the City Hall website it became known that the head of Education, Youth and Sports department, Giorgi Areshidze entered "St. Nicholas University of International Relations" in 2010, but such an institution can not be found in the database of the Ministry of Education

Giorgi Areshidze,has been appointed to a senior position in the City Hall in August 2014, apparently while still a student.
