The City Council Opposition demands resignation of the Mayor.

"When in parallel with electricity tariff increase , thousands of people are deprived of utility vouchers, when hundreds of qualified specialists are kicked out and substituted by unqualified relatives, inaction and inability of these people is equal to crime," - said Irakli Abesadze.

Abesadze said that was the only way out is the resignation of the mayor and early elections.

Chairman of the City Council of the National Movement ,Sevdia Ugrekhelidze said that the mayor`s resignation will be for the benefit of Tbilisi.

"We are ready to take this responsibility through elections," - said Ugrekhelidze.
