A Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) states that the commission will act in accordance with the decision of the Constitutional Court.

According to Tamar Zhvania " Interim elections have been appointed according to law."

The Constitutional Court has received a request to declare the interim elections unconstitutional. the proceedings haven"t started yet.
