Nika Gvaramia, a Director General of Rustavi2 states that Revaz Sakhevarishvili was appointed as a temporary manager of the broadcasting company.

According to Gvaramia, the decision was taken by Judge Urtmelidze.

"Congratulations friends! Dictatorship has finally officially established in Georgia. Judge Urtmelidze has took illegal decision and apointed REvaz SDakhevarishvili ( the former General Director of TV Imedi) as the manager of Rustavi2. The Authority of the management of the broadcasting company is suspended. From now you will have two TV Imedi instead of one. Once again, congratulations with dictatorship! "- is stated in an announcement published on Nika Gvaramia"s facebook webpage.
