At the moment the city court is discussing the preventive measures for David Kirkitadze`s brother, Irakli Kirkitadze. The brother of former governor of Kvemo Kartli made a statement and accused the police of planned provocation.
Kirkitadze`s lawyer said there is no basis for the detention of Kirkitadze, while the prosecutor demands imprisonment for the accused.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irakli Kirkitadze has breached public order, verbally and physically insulted a citizen and hit him in the head with a firearm, which damaged his health.
