In Turkey detained persons, who tried illegally sell the painting by Van Dyck, are not citizens of Georgia. The information to “Rustavi 2" was provided by The Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the Turkish territory were arrested two persons, both ethnic Turks and citizens of the Republic of Turkey. At this stage of the investigation any connections of the detained persons or evidences with Georgia is not detected.
