Saakashvili trial is postponed until 2015 – Office of Prosecutor is looking for evidences

Court hearing of the criminal case against former president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili will not be held in year 2014.

As Saakashvili’s lawyer Oto Kakhidze told “Rustavi 2” prosecutor asked the court to postpone hearing because the office of prosecutor needs more time to find evidences.

Trials on all three criminal cases against Mikheil Saakashvili will resume from January 2015.

The cases against former president of Georgia are: Case of November 7, inappropriate expenditure of budget money and the case of beating of Member of Parliament Valeri Gelashvili.
