“We must leave in past politics that were made by throwing mud”, - says Irakli Alasania.

This is how former Minister of Defense assesses the processes that are developing in Georgia and underlines the importance of implementing obligations in front of population of country.

Leader of “Free Democrats” made these statement during an interview with newspaper “Kvira”. Alasania says, that “Authors of insidious plan directed against Ministry of Defense” shall be punished according to law.  

“I saw an aimed plan and an attack against us. Why all this campaign started when I was visiting France, where I was signing a very important agreement about improvement of defense possibilities of Georgia? Why did they raise the case, which was submitted by me at that very time? I am not against the investigation. I want to clarify everything once and for all. I am sure that the responsibility lies on those who started all this process”, - says Alasania.

Alasania also says, that “Free Democrats” are preparing for next elections.
