Irakli Shikhiashvili resigned

The director of Veterans Affairs State Service , Irakli Shikhiashvili, has resigned.

Irakli Shikhiashvili has confirmed his resignation, however, he does not discuss the specific reasons for it.

Reportedly, Irakli Shikhiashvili decided to take this step after a meeting with Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili. It is still unknown who will be considered for the position of director of the State Service for Veterans Affairs and whether Shikhiashvili will continue his career in other office.
