Parliament of Georgia adopted the law on surveillance and eavesdropping with 73 votes

The draft by Beselia-Popkhadze-Sesiashvili passed with 74 votes against 45. The law is adopted. The package will be sent to the President.

The MPs discussed the draft by Beselia-Popkhadze-Sesiashvili on the second and third reading. According to the law the so called keys will be held by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Personal Data Protection Inspector.
