Irakli Samkurashvili , head of General Inspection department of the Internal Affairs Ministry has  resigned.

 National Movement representative, Irma Nadirashvili  spread this information on her "Facebook" page a few minutes ago.

As she writes, the heads of the State Security Agency and the General Inspection department have resigned.

Nino Giorgobiani, head of Public Relations Department of the General Inspection confirmed the resignation of  Irakli Samkurashvili.  However, she did not explain the reasons.

As for the head of the State Security Agency, Malkhaz Chikviladze, his  resignation was not confirmed by Giorgobiani.
