According to decision  of the Corrections Minister,  Tatia Demurishvili ,a council member, will substitute Natia Landia.

Tamta Demurishvili  will  be in charge of Health to the Department of the Corrections Ministry.

The information was released  by Demurishvili herself  who said that  the decision about the appointment has been made by Minister Mghebrishvili and she will resume the position starting from  tomorrow.

Before, this position was  held by Natia Landia, who will stay in the Ministry as  a consultant.

Demurishvili said that the  main task will be to reduce mortality rate  in the prisons.
