The President has sent the list of Candidates on the vacant places at the Central Election Commission to the Parliament. Giorgi Margvelashvili named 6 candidates while there are 3 vacancies . The administration of the President confirms the information.

Giorgi Javakhishvili and Levan Turashvili are nominated to replace Gizo Mchedlishvili, whose term at the office expired.

 David Gongadze and Zurab Khrikadze are represented to replase Tamaz Sharmanashvili.

The  President named Giorgi Chiqaberidze and Natia Jikia to replace Konstantine Kirvalidze.

The competition was announced in December. The president reviewed 37 applications.
