The Republicans disapprove Gedevan Popkhadze`s initiative empowering Police officers to conduct the search without an authorizing warrant.
The initiative was criticized by Gigla Agulashvili who believes that it will be the constant subject of dispute in court.
Law enforcement will be able to search without a warrant in case of emergency. The amendment will be included in the Criminal Code . The investigator will have the obligation to verbally explain the basics of search and seizure.
