"It is often highlighted that the agreement which was signed on November 24 is a development of the agreement signed in 2008. After the tragic events, a new reality has been created. The former government perceived it acutely and it still remains a painful spot on Georgia"s internal and external policy," Karasin stated.
Karasin went on to say that six years after the tragic events in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, the breakaway republics have firmly established themselves in international society.
"The Georgian political elite has to realize that we have a new political reality. They should take it into account."
