Irakli Kobakhidze releases a special statement regarding the visit of the US Vice President Mike Pence to Georgia. The Chairman of the parliament states that the visit has confirmed that the US considers Georgia as a major ally, a trusted partner and a loyal friend in the region. The statement released by the Chairman of the Parliament says that the United States is not going to leave Georgia alone with difficult challenges.

"The Vice President has stressed that the new US administration plans to actively cooperate with the current government and the ruling political team under whose governance the country"s development was particularly successful in last 5 years,"-reads the statement.
