President of European Parliament criticizes Prime Minister of Greece

President of European Parliament Martin Schulz warned Greek PM Alexis Tsipras against diverging from the European Union"s stance towards Russia over the Ukraine crisis.

Schulz"s comment was a response to Tsipras criticizing an EU statement that warned Moscow it would face new sanctions over its role in the conflict in Ukraine.

Schulz has arrived in Athens and plans to meet with the new PM to discuss the conflict in Ukraine and Greece"s financial issues.
