Member of United National Movement (UNM) Givi Targamadze commented on the recent arrest of former police officials and claimed that the current government is attempting to make up for their inaction with popcorn headlines.

Targamadze has supported his claim by saying that some of the policemen arrested today had been forced to leave their jobs yesterday.

"5 employees of the special forces have been arrested. The former head of the special forces Kakha Nakani has also been arrested. This is a direct blow to the police."

The MP has adamantly stated that the most recent actions taken by the Prosecutor"s Office were taken by former PM Bidzina Ivanishvili and current PM Irakli Gharibashvili.
