The judge read out a letter on Zurab Zhvania"s death during the trial of an expert Levan Chachua. The letter was sent by a convict who claims that Zurab Zhvania was killed in Telavi.
The letter states that the meeting during which Zhvania was killed was attended by 11 persons and 3 of them ministers are ministers today.
The prisoner said he had personally witnessed the murder of Zhvania and Yusupov. "I personally have a video tape, which I Have sent to Kbilashvili," reads the letter. As Judge David Mgeliashvili explains prisoner claims that he was a member of Saakashvili"s security.
The prisoner said he is ready to testify and had provided Kbilashvili with the information on the incident, but received no response.
Prosecutor Revaz Navoi said that the letter will be sent to the prosecution.
