Lari has depreciated again. According to the National Bank new exchange rate, 1 USD is 2,421 GEL. Yesterday evening, the official exchange rate for 1 USD was 2.0346 GEL.
National Bank determines the official exchange rate by the end of each working day on the basis of interbank trade and due to the fact that the state has floating exchange rate , the consumer rate is much higher.
