MP Gia Volsky responded to the criticism by his fellow MPs on the issue of who will become Chairman of the Supreme Court. Volsky stated that there was no uncoordinated work in making the decision.
"We don`t have to reiterate that the person who will be the chairman of the Supreme Court for 10 years shouldn`t be under the influence of any political will."
The split between the members of the Parliamentarian Majority has continued on for several days. The situation worsened after MP Dimitri Khundadze announced that Majority Leader David Saganelidze did not consult with other MPs in the party before discussing candidates for the position with the President.
