Jokia Bodokia was sentenced to detention as a preventive measure. The judge"s decision was announced a few minutes ago.
Before the trial, the prosecutor Malkhaz Getsadze said that Bodokia took a bribe from Natia Makharashvili the head of Ltd. "Darioushi" in exchange for his help. Bodokia allegedly promised to help the construction company in the obtaining of a permit for the building of a hotel and to back them during the construction process.  Prosecution is charging Bodokia with bribery.
