"The appointment of Mikheil Saakashvili is Ukraine`s sovereign right " stated Ukrainian Ambassador to Georgia Vasili Tsibenko. Tsibenko stated that Russia wants to spoil relations between Georgia and Ukraine, but will not succeed.

After leaving the Foreign Ministry, the ambassador also stated that plans for the Prime Minister`s visit to Ukraine are still in progress.
