Donetsk separatist"s leader wounded in the clashes

Leader of the so-called Donetsk People"s Republic Alexander Zakharchenko was wounded in the ankle during a heavy firefight with Ukrainian soldiers in Debaltsevo.

He was taken out of the city after receiving first aid.

Firefights continue in Debaltsevo. The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces confirmed the seizure of a part of the city by the separatists.
