Gigi Ugulava to remain in detention

The Former mayor of Tbilisi stays in prison. The judge has announced the decision few minutes ago. He didn`t satisfy the demand of Lawyer to release the former Mayor on bail.

The prosecutors have announced that Gigi Ugulava is dangerous.

The representatives of Prosecutor`s Office have stated , "there is a risk that he may abscond. Also there is a risk that he will put pressure on witnesses. We remind you that Gigi Ugulava was arrested when he was going to flee."
